Canon EOS-1D-C
With it’s core specifications mirroring those of the EOS-1D X DSLR, Canon has unveiled it’s 4K capable video powerhouse, the Canon EOS-1D C.
In much the same fashion that the Canon 5D Mark II introduced Full HD video to DSLR users for the very first time back on the 17 September 2008, the EOS-1D C brings 4k (4,096 x 2,160) video. Capable of capturing Full HD (1920 x 1080) video at frame rates up to 1080/60p, the EOS-1D C’s video can also be output to external recorders (via an integrated HDMI terminal) using an uncompressed YCbCr 4:2:2 signal.
