Canon 5D Mark III ISO samples featured image
The Canon 5D Mark III is once more making a name for itself in the high ISO stakes, and with that, we’ve put together an interactive multi-ISO sample component for you to judge for yourself.
The scene from which the crops are taken can be seen below; our apologies if some of the photos are ever so slightly misaligned, we didn’t have a tripod to hand. These crops were taken OOC (out of camera) JPEG files. The original RAW files can be downloaded using the link at the end of this feature, allowing you to make your own comparisons and for further scrutiny.

We feel it’s fair to say that the Mark III has a 1-2 stop advantage over the Mark II; just check out those 12800 ISO and 25600 ISO photos. The Canon 5D Mark III just keeps on impressing us here at Digital Hardware, the more we use it the more complete the whole package feels, and without any discernible quibbles either. Have we found the perfect DSLR? Maybe, just maybe…
