The NEX-F3 is partially constructed using ‘SoRPlas’ (Sony Recycled Plastic), a flame-retardant polycarbonate plastic that is produced by blending discarded plastic from manufacturing sites with a proprietary sulphur-based flame-retardant. SoRPlas contains 99% recycled materials, and exhibits excellent strength plus world-leading heat resistance and durability.
